Completion project of the educational facilities of Oman Islamic Institute, one of the largest Islamic Centres in Tanzania mainland. The Educational Objectives of Oman Islamic Institute: 1- Achieving sincere servitude to Allah the Almighty in its comprehensive sense. 2- The self-independence of the individual Muslim, his identity distinction, and his non-dependence on others or his conformity with others. 3- Instilling spirit of responsibility in the personality of Muslim towards his homeland and nation. 4- Consolidating the principle of unity among Muslims, and rationalizing differences by investigating the truth and steadfastness on the principles. 5- Preparing the individual in a balanced way to perform his duty towards himself, his family, and his society. 6- Developing the social sense and charitable work in the individual to be effective in his community. 7- Formation of a Quranic society that interacts with the Qur'an in its manifestation, morals, sciences, systems and customs. 8- Paying attention to the Arabic tongue and empowering the learner/student of its sciences. 9- Training the learner/students in the understanding of legal texts, understanding their purposes and how to derive the legal ruling on calamities. 10- The student’s awareness of the history of his Islamic nation and be proud of the civilization. 11- Giving correct perception derived from the Holy Qur’an on issues of belief and the unseen. 12- Improving the level of religious education by graduating qualified and well-trained cadres with competence and religious awareness, who understand the principles of their religion, who understand its meanings, who are familiar with the diverse and multiple sources of Islamic culture and who carry the Islamic message, while instilling the correct faith in the graduates and the ability to endure hardships. 13- Providing Tanzanian society and neighbouring countries with the preachers who instill the correct doctrine and principles of monotheism, issues of faith, and spreading the teachings of Islam, preparing the preacher who works to raise the Muslim individual that understands his religion, virtuous in his morals, dealings, and behavior, tolerant of others and loving his Muslim brother. 14- Preparing the graduate who memorizes the Holy Qur'an and understands the world through the lense of the purified Sunnah, and the tolerant creed. 15- Providing the needs of the regions in terms of preachers and religious guides. 16- Creation of the types of graduates who can supervise schools and other charitable works after obtaining the appropriate scientific and practical experience. 17- Enabling secondary school graduates to complete their studies in the following disciplines: Legal, educational, and linguistic. Developing the capabilities and supporting the competence of workers in the religious field through training and continuing education programs. Changing false beliefs, prevailing customs, and contrary manifestations to Islamic law in society.
